Description
TAIC is a versatile crosslinking co-agent for peroxide or radiation crosslinking of synthetic rubbers and crosslinkable thermoplasts e.g. EPDM, EPM, EVA, FPM, FKM, Q, XPE, PA, PAN, PET, PVC, PMI polyimide-esters.
Benefit / Application
TAIC-cured vulcanisates show improved crosslinking density,compression set and enhanced heat resistance. Compared with other crosslinking co-agents. TAIC shows increased chemical inertness. Thus TAIC can be recommended for curing of high-mw-polymers under elevated temperature conditions. Process safety becomes significantly improved. Compared with pure TAIC the Dry Liquid improves handling and dosage, leading to better dispersion, optimum distribution of the active ingredient inside the compound.
